| NEW FOR 2009: BCA MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES AND DUES CHANGES
The Billiard Congress of America (BCA) general membership approved a bylaws revision in May 2008, which changed the categories of BCA membership. These new membership categories will become effective January 1, 2009. Learn more about the new membership categories and dues changes (PDF file).
If you are a current BCA member, you will receive your 2010 renewal notice in early October 2009, at which time you will be asked to renew your membership in one of the new categories.
If you are not a current BCA member, but are interested in membership at this time, please contact Shane Tyree, BCA membership coordinator, at shane@bca-pool.com or 303.243.5070 and he will assist you with securing a membership in one of the new BCA membership categories (please see below). You may also join online at the "Join Now" link below. If you choose to join at this time, your membership in one of the new categories will be effective through December 31, 2010.

Category 1 (Manufacturer/Distributor): Licensed business entity engaged in the manufacturing process or wholesale distribution of billiard equipment or accessories.

Category 2 (Retailer): Licensed business entity engaged in the selling of billiard equipment or billiard accessories from an established, publicly known place of business.

Category 3 (Room Operator): Licensed business entity operating one or more establishments where billiards are played; and licensed business entity operating a billiards league or league system.

Category 4 (Affiliate): All others in four subgroups:
- Associations, organizations, publications and other licensed entities actively engaged in the billiard industry;

- Any other person or entity that the Board of Directors deems appropriate for membership in the organization; and
- Professional billiard players (individuals) that earn their living from playing billiards, giving exhibitions of billiards or otherwise promoting the sport.
